I'm gonna make all those chilis (without the beans of course) and then make chili out of that. :thumb:

My favorite name so far is "Judicial Misconduct Beef, Pork, and Sausage Chili".

I've lived in Texas for 30-something years. I know a lot of Texans who put beans in their chili. There are a lot of good ways to make chili. If everyone made it the same, every time, it would be boring.

Why someone would choose NOT to put beans in their chili is beyond me. :biggrin1:
:tsk:FrIjoles? No way Jose, No stinking frijoles in chili man. If it has Frijoles es soupa. Since it is the state dish of Tx it was invented here we make the rules. NO Frijoles in Chili Comprendo?

The Texans that put beans in their chili, are more than likely Yankee transplants. From the rule book of
the Terlingua Chili Cookoff:
"3. No beans, pasta, rice or other similar items are allowed."
