Mobile - March 13, 14

That's a long haul Brian. Why the long trip?
 
I grew up in Pensacola, so I have a couple of high school buddies come over and hang out. Then I go over to p'cola and see family and friends. My wife and kids go, so the kids get to see both sets of grandparents.

Are you cooking Irving in a couple of weeks? I will be there.

I might take the trailer Thursday evening, or when I get up Friday. But I really wanted to sleep in Friday.:rolleyes:

There is one in Auburn, AL in the last week of March too. I haven't heard a peep out of the board about that one.

The Auburn contest is the same weekend as Hammond, LA. Deek, Eric, and company put on a great contest over there in cajun land.
 
Lookin' forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones at both contests. Been a long winter.

Hello Phillip - haven't seen you since Springville, AL 3 years ago - that was my first contest, had a ton of beginners luck (just like going to a casino the first time to get you hooked)- moved to Texas shortly after it. Looking forward to seeing you again, I guess I will just look for the awful Tennessee Vol colored crocs....:roll:. Make sure you stop by for a drink and some food.

We should have some free time on Friday to make our rounds.

Oh yeah . . . . the shoes will be there!!

A friend of mine and I just ordered a Backwoods FatBoy to start playing in some of the comps. We'll definitely be there, just checking it out though to get a feel for it. I can't wait. Our team name is going to be A Joker, A Smoker, and A Toker :)
 
It was good to meet Pickin Porkers and Twin Pigs in Mobile this weekend. Thanks for the hospitality. Hope to see you down the road somewhere else.
