This is a first year event with a 5K prize purse. The GLBBQA is excited about getting a contest down near the southern border in hopes of attracting some of our out of state friends.

Still trying to drum up some interest from some teams south of the Michigan border, or east, or west, or north, since its a first year event only 15 teams needed to make it a qualifier!

Nice, then you might want to consider checking out this thread because we are going to have a potluck Friday where you bring your own protein to grill and a dish to pass. We party pretty hard in Michigan....:heh:
