Misc. Pork Roasts

We buy a half pig each year. These are pasture fed and great eating.

I have four roasts in the freezer - all just labels that say: "roast."

Probably not loins as they went to chops.

My question: can I low and slow these the same as I would do a butt roast?

If they have a decent amount of fat, sure. But if they look pretty lean you might want to consider a higher cook temperature and a lower target temp.

I recently did a pork sirloin roast on the rotisserie and it turned out pretty good.

Yes. You can do the whole hog, for that matter, it's good from snout to tail. Some of your roasts may very well be butts, for that matter.

Go for it....

If the loins went to chops, then your roasts are probably shoulder roasts, arm roasts, butts, hams, blade roast, or any combination of these.

No mattere what it is, it will taste great...
