Well, back when I had my CharGriller with SFB ... I used to wish that the firebox was the meat chamber and the meat chamber was the firebox. In other words - that darned firebox was just too small. So, I can't fault the guy for wanting to make sure he had plenty of fire capacity! :becky:

Maybe he was from northern Cali when he built it and had to use sequoia splits and just eventually got tired of so much damn splitting
