Well, I have to thank the Brethren for finally motivating/inspiring me to try this. At least one of these is certainly something I've seen on this forum.

For my first, I decide to stuff it with a rice, cheese and chicken sausage stuffing my wife makes for stuffed bell peppers. I even through some bell pepper in, to completely make a farce of anything that was once healthy about her dish. Here is the rice/chk stuffing.

I'll be putting these on my Old Country Pit around for dinner tonight. Lunch tomorrow, heart attack soon probably.

Looking forward to this! Thanks again to those of you who post yours regularly. And yes I know it's not just a sausage roll, but I like fancy.
 
I have done a Pepperoni pizza fatty before and it is my favorite. You will love that one for sure. I want one now.:eusa_clap

I will definitely be doing them again. The stuffings made completely different dishes, an I liked them both. Probably leaning a bit toward the pizza. But the rice stuffing set up nicely and presents well.
 
Rice stuffing recipe
1 pack of uncle bens long grain and wild rice (I used microwave ready)
1&3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 can Petite diced tomatoes
1/2tsp basil
3 Italian chicken sausage links (uncased)
Italian blend shredded cheese

Brown the sausage and add the broth, tomatoes, basil and rice. Simmer until most of the liquid is gone, then add as much cheese as you want. Let it cool to thicken, prior to stuffing the fatty.

There's the stuffing. Super easy.
 
Where did you get the shakers? Those are awesome!

That's a real seasoning! Specialsh!t.com. But spell it correctly. They have 4 seasonings out plus dips and BBQ sauces. Everything I've tried of theirs has been great.
