Hey guys, thanks a bunch! :whoo: It is a real honor.

That I was able to best the Father of Baconstein (http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1080904&postcount=49), creator of the forever-to-be-remembered Bacon Salad Bowl will be something I cherish for some time to come.

Gore, Desert Dweller and many others, for the record I would have hit your ribs hard if given the opportunity.

There are some real BBQ geniuses here and I have already learned a lot in this, my first week of participation on the Brethren. I hope that I can avoid the curse of beginner's luck going forward.

Speaking of geniuses, Alan, congratulations on your long-awaited entry into the Zero Club! I was too new on the forum so I wasn't allowed to comment or vote, but I would have definitely given you high marks for your slick use of the Surface-of-Mars Photoshop filter to disguise your ribs' greatness. Your selfless act of self sabotage was clearly successful and likely the only reason I was able to take first. I am probably not too far behind you, so keep a beer on ice for me in the Z-Lounge, OK?
