Nicelyu done Try putting 1/2 tsp of kosher salt on each side and let her sit for an hour- basically 15 min per 1/4 inch rinse off, pat dry and good- really good and more tender
 
I'm more of a ribeye kind of guy, but many more posts like that and I could become an easy convert:decision:! Great looking steaks & cook well executed!
 
I like the chew of the strip steak. Hot and fast my way to cook em. The texture IMHO doesn't take on much smoke. Not enough fat like a ribeye. Great job and send me left overs if you don't mind!
