I used to work in Southfield, if you dont mind let me know where at in Southfiled and I might be able to recommend some other restaraunts as well.

As for Q, of the places that you have listed, I have only been to Memphis Smoke. It is not bad, and as Pimpsmoke said Roay Oak has become the "trendy" burb of Detroit. It has great nightlife and a lot of good restaruants. Memphis Smoke has live blues bands almost every night and the q is edible. It is not going to be as good as what you make at home but it is as good or better than something along the lines of Famous Daves. You cant beat the atmoshpere if you like the whole Blues and BBQ thing, which I love!!!
