I picked up a 9.5 pound pork butt from Kroger on Friday that was on sale for $1.27/pound.
I seasoned/rubbed it down, put her the fridge for a day, then put her on the pit this morning. I Cooked her w/ pecan for an hour and a half per pound at 225*F and took the internal temp to 200*F, removed from the heat and foiled/rested her for an hour in the cooler, then pulled.
I am going to freeze it for sammiches in the coming weeks.
