September 19, 2009 at Guntersville, Alabama is the third stop on the American Bass Anglers BBQ Tour sponsored by Early Times Whisky. The first two events have been very successful and the Lake Guntersville, AL is the perfect backdrop for the the third event in the series.

Teams can also vend at these events but you must sign up as vendors. Please contact Debra Talley for any information you need. We look forward to seeing all the teams again in Kuttawa!!

Kevin Rake the Early Times ABA Pro-Staffer and Rick Tilson the Royal Purple ABA Prostaffer will hold two fishing clinics. Everything you wanted to know about how to Bass fish for fun and in tournaments. BBQ Team Members can get personal coaching from these two seasoned prostaffers. At the end of the day Rick and Kevin both will take BBQ Team members for boat rides and maybe a little fishing.

There will be some additional special prizes and awards and well as at afternoon at 3pm, spectators will be a part of the weigh-in for the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournament! Sign up for a FAB Grill that will be given away along with other great prizes.

The event will be featured in the November/December 2009 issue of the American Bass Angler Magazine. Teams smile for the cameras!

Every team that gets involved with the ABA BBQ Tour this year will be given priority registration for the 2010 tour.

Who's planning on this doing this one? I've not been able to make the others, but there's been a pretty good turn out.
 
Same weekend as Decatur, AL. Long time established contest. Hate to see two contests so close together on the same weekend. They are only about 60 miles apart.
 
Yes and it is because our tour follows the Bassmaster Weekend Series. From registrations there is obviously a lot of teams in the N.Alabama/Southern Tennessee area.
