The Pizza Chronicles. Stick Burner Pies

What temp did you run in the Spicewine to cook the Pizza?

ive never heard of granite for a pizza stone. Prep surface, yes, cooking surface no.. curious to hear results... Another alternative may have been a green egg pizza stone just sitting on the rack. Ive done it like that in my spicewine.

Great Ideas - Can't wait to see some fine pies coming out!

She's gettin hot now

Tried a piece of dough without sauce or toppings just a little olive oil, without the oil the dough will puff up like a pillow. NTTAWWT They are great sliced and stuffed with Nutella! Great Dessert.

The Bottom,

and the crust.

Can't wait for the guests to arrive so I can make the real deal!

Be back after dinner! Thanks for looking!

Looks fantastic, Jed! Lucky, lucky guests you have! :thumb:

Very interesting, you are doing exactly what I have been working on with the exception of I have an opening into the firebox to increase the heat. How do you find that the granite heats? How long does yours take to reach temp?

Thanks,
Sean
