Thank you very much. Learned it all here in the forum. Now the difficult part starts, which throwdown category? Burgers just got selected, and what a great category.

That is a wonderfull entry Rolf. Congratulations on the win.:clap2:

Well done Rolf, beautiful photography and geat food. I'd even hit those veggies!

Cheers!

Bill

some great entries. great, however, in regards to rules, are "enhanced" photos legal?

One is modified but you cannot tell until you open it up and zoom in on a certain overwhelming feature very close.... like up to the pixel view

That has been discussed. The final say is up to the voter's opinion of what is acceptable according to the rules. I would enjoy a link to some of your "finer" pixels though, :p.

Absolutely fabulous rolf and congratulations to all the other great entries in this one. Competition sure was tough!

Vinny covered this, but there is no "pre-judging" of any photos. The voters decide which picture they like best, and they vote for it. There are no rules they need to follow telling them how to vote, they vote using whatever criteria they choose to use. If they choose to look at each and every pixel in the photos to make up their mind, they are free to do so, and to vote however they choose, either in favor of the modified photos, or against them.

This picture is still yummy looking and its not the actual food that is modified anyway

Here a link to a large version of the winning picture, I adjusted the exposure and added some saturation/vibrancy for the vegetables.
For the pixel peepers ;-)
And some more pictures from that day:
