Big ol beef ribs and potatoes! Yum!

Its ben awhile since iv'e entered a throw down. So I cooked this up and entered it in the MEAT AND POTATO THROWDOWN.
I mean really, How can ya pass up meat and potatoes?:grin:

MEAT

This is what I found, Beef Ribs!

I took three of them, rubbed them down with EVOO and this!

Slow smoked them on my well seasoned 50 year old KAMADO.

POTATO

I cooked them on the weber kettle, added butter, splash of pepper, sour cream and green onions!

Dessert

The Mrs made Pumpkin Pie from scratch. Best pie Ive ever had!

Awesome. I've been avoiding the beef ribs because they seem to shrink down to almost nothing, those baby's give me renewed hankerin'
 
Those are some great looking ribs, both before the cook and plated. Scratch punkin or sweet tater pie, can't make up my mind which one is my favorite. Right now its punkn:thumb:

OMG That looks Good Made scratch pumpkin pies in college with the people I lived with- made 13 and used a beer bottle as a rolling pin. Poured egg in a hot batter- scrambled some of it Turned out good- I am sure not as good as yours
