Tried my first injection for pork butt. Used an apple beer injection I made. Turned out really good. Got a good smoke ring on the money muscle to.

Looks fantastic! Was the flavor any different with the injection?
 
Looks great. What volumes of injection did you use?
 
Flavor had a little more sweetness to it and it was a lot more moist. I used probably a cup of injection for 2 butts. My first experiment with an injection. Going to play around with if a little more. Over all I was very pleased with it. My wife gave me a thumbs up so that is usually good.

I was thinking about trying injection on a butt this weekend. You are tipping the scale in favor of it.
 
Did you notice any difference in cooking time?

Looks real good. I haven't tried an injection yet, but after seeing your results I might just give it a shot.
