Every Christmas for the past six years or so, our "core group" of close friends all get together during the holiday season for a "progressive" Christmas or New Years party. We travel from house to house spending 1-1 /12 hours at each one of four houses. This year the first hosts featured a cajun seafood gumbo. I was next with an Italian theme (of course). My menu was a meat tray with Volpi brand Genoa Salami, Hot Copa, and Hot Soprasata Salami. A Cheese tray with Gana Padano, Fontinella, Gorgonzola, and a fresh Mozzarella salad. Scicilian olive salad and my home made garlic and basil bread sticks. Last but not least were the boneless skinless chicken breast tenderloins wrapped in pancietta with garlic and rosemary. I think they liked it! The next stop was Polish fare with cabbage rolls, sausage, and pierogies. And last but not least we finished with smoked meat loaf and wings. Good thing we only do this once a year!!!

What a great tradition and such a fantastic spread!:eusa_clap
I would find it challenging to do all 4 in one day, but sure would like to try it at least once to find out.
It all sounds absolutely terrific.

That is how we used to my family Christmas party on Christmas Eve. 6 houses in 3 towns usually ending by midnight.

Nice spread!

Next year, keep an eye on your rear view mirror......if you see a dark blue Ford truck behind you....................it's me. I'm crashing all four parties. Looks fantastic and I love the idea. I would have parked myself next to the meat tray!!! I'd hit all o dat!:eusa_clap

What a cool idea. Sounds like a great way to celebrate with friends!
