Can someone give me some good ideas to fill the rust pits on my lp tank? I took a wire wheel to the area im about to cut my doors out. The base metals integrity is intact but feels pretty pitted. Is there some type of high temp product I can rub over them to fill them?

If you had small sections like I did on mine, I would say just fill them in with the MIG gun and smooth them down. But when it's a large area, it's WAY more work and isn't really worth it. Plus, you may distort your doors by welding that much. Just run it as is, there isn't any benefit to filling them in other than aesthetics.
