Hi, my name is Rob, and I just joined here. I live in Massachusetts and spend a lot of time in Connecticut at the beach (yes, Connecticut has beaches), which is where I find the time for smoking.

I have been an avid griller for years, but only last year decided to try real smoking. I have a dirt cheap Master Forge bullet smoker. It actually does a decent job, but I do find temperature control challenging. It doesn't seem to have the problems that I see people talk about with the ECB, but there are no adjustable vents. At some point I figure I will upgrade to something better.

The forums here are full of such great information. I'm really happy to have help honing my skills!
