First Church Fundraiser

I cooked 8 butt's last weekend and some chicken to benefit my parents Church and their community outreach program (for the needy of the community). My local Wegman's grocery store actually gave me a gift card for the event which covered the cost of the meat. Big thanks to them. Wasn't sure what to expect so i didn't cook all that much. We sold out in under an hour and after taking out some $$ to cover other expenses were able to donate a pretty good amount to the church. I'll be doing this again before labor day and will be cooking much more. BBQ really does have a way of bringing out the good in most people!

Awesome. I do missions bbq fund raisers a few times a year and always use Wegmans pork, with or without the gift card.

Their pork is pretty good. May even consider using it for some comps.
