This sounds like an absolutely awsome idea but unfortunately I probably cant make it. Son will be 3 months in aug 15th so well have to see how he is.
im from Algonquin and shorter the distance the better. If this can be a yearly thing then hell yea. Next year for sure. This is a great idea. Im hoping to meet 2 brethren in the near future for a drum and to actually make it.

I live in Indiana less than a mile from Illinois. There is a cook county park just a couple of miles away. About 3 miles from I-394 and about 5 miles south of I-80.
They have a couple of shelters there.

Either day is good for me. There are more woods with shelters available on Sunday. Red Gate, Columbia, Willow Springs and Crooked Creek, as of today, all have shelters for Sunday. They are located approx. where I-55 and I-294 and Rt 45 intersect.
