Anyone that knows me know I don't eat sea bugs - but Big Al does and it being Valintines day and all I thought I'd surprise him with a little surf and turf, and I only want to cook it on the Egg.

So - how do I pull this off??

I thank you and I am sure Big Al will thank you.

I would just make sure to have some butter on it. Grill is a dry invironment for lobster tail. Maybe in a pan with a quarter inch of water in it for steam.

I have always steamed or lightly boiled mine.

I have found when grilling lobster from start to finish it’s a little dry. I boil mine to almost done in old bay seasoning. Take it out spit the tail shell and crack the claws slightly. THEN I though it on the grill to finish cooking and letting it absorb the grill or smoke flavors. Get some fresh herbs and mix it with melted butter.

I have got to try the dwell in the shell method - it looks great.

Thanks Guys - knew I could count on you.
