This is a laid-back, extremely fun, one-day NEBS Grilling Competition.
All teams are welcome!

Categories are Rib Eye, Chicken Wings, Sausage Fatty and Chef's Choice.
NEBS Grilling Rules are in effect.

This event, for the third year in a row, is a benefit for the Abington Food Pantry, so please, bring donations and we will try to fill their truck!!

For applications and more information please visit www.nebs.org

Hope to see you there!

I just wanted to clarify something...

'NEBS rules are in effect' but there are a couple of exceptions, and garnish rules are not the same for each category. These are clearly stated in the cook's packet.

So, Read your cook's packet carefully. Any questions... e-mail either gary or me.

4 weeks from tomorrow!!!!! We have 11 teams so far...

Thanks again!

Hey Michelle,
I posted this on our facebook fan page The BBQ Specialist. Do you have a banner or a website for it? I'd love to add the link for that as well.

Thanks so much but right now the SGC website is not updated and needs serious work.
If we can get it squared away, I will send it along...

Do you still need Judges?

Hey Ray... Good to hear from ya! Was just remembering your win in Brooklyn... good times!

Gary is handling the judges so shoot him an e-mail or a phone call...
all I know is that he is in need of a few more.

eek... weather looks fine... teams are geared up and ready to go!

Please remember your donations... food pantries all over the country are assisting more families than ever, and they can use all the help they can get. The Food Pantry guys and gals will be selling hot dogs and chili, along with coffee and hot chocolate.

One more thing... the VFW has changed things up a bit. Now the judging and awards will be done in the main hall instead of the member's lounge, and the teams will be set up on the other side of the parking lot. This will be fantastic for those people who don't particularly enjoy the smoke-filled lounge, plus we will have all kinds of room... there may even be dancin'...

If you get there earlier than me (6:30-7a.m.) PLEASE don't site yourselves... we aren't in the same area as last year.
Call Gary @ 781-831-7236

See you all Saturday!
Thanks so much!

I am so looking forward to the Snowshoe, but we will probably not be having any foul weather gear this time.
Good Luck to All the Teams!
Can not wait to judge!:-D

That's great news! I'm sure the judges will like that too.
Can't wait! See everyone Saturday.
