I will add to this thread as well: I too just purchased the ET-732. I had been using an el' cheapo unit from ikea for my pit temp (ss rib tanker), and another different cheapo for my meat. Upon receiving the Maverick, i boiled a pot of water to compare temps, and even took the dial gauge off of my door. the ikea digital was reading 11 degrees colder than the rest. Used the Maverick last week to cook ribs, and used both probes as pit probes, one for each shelf. Well worth the money!, i even sprung for the 6ft pit probe.
Kudo's to a great product, now i can snooze on the couch in the AC instead of sweatin my butt off outside!
