somebody shut me the fark up.
I wanted to get rid of some cheaparse NY Strips that the wife got suckered into buying from one of those guys that comes by with a freezer on his pickup truck last fall. :doh:
ANYWAY.....she knows now.
Got the LBGE hot, liberally seasoned em with kosher salt, black pepper and granulated garlic. Grilled em fast. About 3-4 minutes total. They were only about 3/8" thick. :tsk:
Then I dropped the cast iron wok down on the cook grate & had some yellow onion, yellow, red & orange bell peppers and button mushrooms all prepped that I seasoned with EVOO, salt, cajun seasoning and some cracked pepper with herb seasoning that I picked up a while back from GFS (good stuff). After preheating the wok (which didn't take long), I let er rip.....
The wife whipped up some boxed spanish rice and we went at it!
Served em on flour tortillas with sour cream and some homemade cilantro heavy guacamole spread.
LOVE homemade fajitas!
