Preparing Fully Cooked Spiral Ham?

Got a fully cooked spiral ham in the freezer. Having never cooked one on my pit, I would appreciate any pointers in preparation. What I don't want is an over smoked ham at the end of the cook. Any and all help appreciated!

I tried one last year following Meatheads directions over at amazingribs including the glaze he recommended. Came out great. Wasn't over smoked at all - though I did use pellet grill
