Jimmy and I plan to cook together once each year in a different State. We have done Missouri and New York so far. Anyone have any ideas???

New Holland PA in August. Great contest with a cool surrounding set in Lancaster with horse and buggies and all that good stuff. My favorite event of the year.

Tied into the Oyster Festival...75,000 plus people, big time top name music acts... big time BBQ Teams...Sled got 3rd place in chicken in CT...alot of good oysters,seafood and other food ... fundraiser for the Norwalk Maritime Center...Like the AR but with less BBQ stuff...should be a state championship...

The DC Barbecue Battle. It's 2 contests - KCBS on Saturday and MBN on Sunday. You are set up on Pennsylvania Ave in Wash DC between 9th and 14th St. You can look up Penna. Ave and see the Capital and the monuments down the side streets. It's the only comp in DC. Not cheap, but a unique location. http://www.bbqdc.com/
