Not me. I'm going to make something warm and bubbly and make the house smell good. Unless the power goes out. Then I,ll be lighting up the grill.

I'm in the same boat. Grill is ready to go if the power goes out, but it would be mighty tough with the wind that is coming.

Its Blowing outside and Im just not that much of a die hard to try to smoke something today. If I lose power Ill just fire up the generator and act as if nothing is wrong with the world.

I braved the storm here in WI; did an overnight brisket in my UDS. Six inches of snow fell, and it was pretty windy.

Held 250 very steady, but come morning, the UDS had cooled down and I rushed the foiled brisket into the oven. So Close!

Sorry, no PRON, maybe when I slice it later.

legs and baked potatoes on the smoker last night here in western MA. a crock pot, make the house smell great all day meal for dinner tonight. tomorrow, hmmmmmm, have a nice picnic in the fridge!

where do you buy meat from? ive found great ribs and butts at Sam's in Hudson, NH.

Sam's is good, I go with my wife during the summer if I'm cooking for a crowd. If I'm just treating myself, I like to stop at Brown & Budnicks in Dracut. Also, a couple times of year Groupon runs $50 of meat for $25 at the meat house in Chelmsford. I usually order a couple of those and stock up. Still having trouble finding tri-tip though. Let me know if you see any!

6 inches of snow and still snowing in CT. THE BGE will up and smoking lamb tomorrow.

I work in Toronto, and they think they're getting hammered. I live 3 hours drive north, and we have weather like this every few weeks.
Unfortunately, I'm working tonight, so I can't light up. When I'm home tomorrow and Sunday I'll que something, but by then the storm 'll be over.
Good luck to all my northeastern brethren, cooking or just getting around on the roads!
Be safe,
Matt

Sorry saving the BBQ for Sunday. I've got a big pot of French onion soup going right now and watching the snow just starting to fall.

I just posted in the other bizzard thread: snowbanks make excellent wind blocks. I know from experience.

I feel terrible - NOT! Today was blue sky & 76*. Doing some honey do around the farm and gettin ready to head to the Gulf to go red-fishin tomorrow. Burgers tonight? Kidding aside, y'all are certainly dedicated!

Yep. Good Luck to you folks up there. I won't go into temps here but I know you can handle it. We get 3 snowflakes here and they roll up the sidewalks and close.
