Hi! I'm Mark, and I'm in southeast Florida.
I've been BBQing for 40 years. Three years ago I started to do it semi-professionally. I do an event or three almost every week.
One of my neighbors saw me getting ready for an event and stopped and introduced himself. He also invited me to this site. His name is Rick, I didn't get his last name.
My equipment is a locally built BBQ/smoker. It's not an offset, but it is 8 feet long so I can put heat on one end and meat on the other. Or I can put meat a couple feet over the heat.
My specialties are ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. Soon I'm going to take some time and experiment with a brisket.
