one pound of jumbo lump crabmeat
one teaspoon of yellow mustard mixed with one egg
salt
pepper
old bay seasoning
about ten crushed saltine crackers

mix and form very gently and fry in butter. it helps a little if you let them set in the refrigerator for a half hour to an hour.
 
Care to share your recipie. I have 1 1/2 lbs of catfish and think I could make some pretty good fish cakes with them.
 
Just great, now I'll have to hop on over to the DC waterfront and pick me up 1/2 bushel to stop the cravings after seeing the pics
 
Awesome looking crab cakes!
Pretty difficult to get the big lump crab here in the middle of nowhere.

My grandmother made some awesome salmon cakes with the king salmon we caught though.
 
Very nice! My wife is allergic to a lot of seafood, but crab is something she can eat - this looks like a great thing to make this week - thanks for putting that up! :clap2:
