I've actually done peach cobbler on the pit. Can't remember the recipe but it was easy. I love the stuff.

Dump Cake, fruit pie filling (apple in my fav) some spice (cinnamon and sugar with the apple) and cake mix with a stick of butter. Throw it in the heat for about and hour.....perfect dessert.

These are fantastic and can be made on the grill or smoker, same as the oven as long as they are in the water bath.

I have made a blackberry thyme cobbler that's very good cooked outside with wood or charcoal.
