yesterday afternoon. got a little hungry. so......
opened up 3 different cans of beans and dumped them in my pan. found a bunch of links, so why not.

What's the mesh you're cooking on??

I thought you might see my question and reply quickly. Guess not.

Unless you can say for certain that the mesh is some type of stainless it is most likely galvanized and you should quit cookin' on it. From the differences in color from grey to rusty brown I'm concerned for ya. In the next to last pic it has the look of common galvanized wire cloth.

beans and dogs is one of my favorites ! atr some over rice friday. they have a thing in hawaii called "fishermans stew". i eat it when i'm cold and feeling "off". a can or two of pork and beans, a cubed up can of spam and a can of cut up vienna sausage. in a pot, heat up, eat. soooo gooood.
