Won our first grand in Turkey, Texas this last weekend. I've been reading several forums and certainly learned a lot from this forum. Thanks to the Funk meister or however you spell that along with the other brisket tutorials I've read here. We got 7th Turkey because we were in Turkey, 3rd chicken, 1st ribs and 1st brisket. It was a blast.

Congrats! Hope I can grab our first GC this year. Took 3 RGCs last year. Always a bridesmaid.....
 
That's great man!!! Congrats!!! Still eludes me but we only do a couple of KCBS contests a year.
