I finally grilled out again! Yea!

I did some thick pork chops with a sauce by Stonewall Kitchens, a peach whiskey sauce with some chiles in it. I really like their stuff, out of Maine. The pork chops just got some salt and pepper and went on the Weber. Along with the chops, I baked some potatoes in the coals for a bit, then sliced them and finished them in a cast iron skillet with some duck fat, topped with a dollop of sour cream... man, duck fat and potatoes = delicious!

That looks great, Stonewall does great stuff with fruit.

Dang!! Nice pics, for sure!

Have some of their sauces myself...been sittin' in the cupboard. May just have to break them out!!

Looks great!
Duck fat huh? Only had duck once & didn't care for it (it was probably the way it was prepared). May have to give that a try though. Now that sauce...... I wouldn't even need the pork chop, just give me a spoon!

Ducks!

Hunterman.....ducks are delish! Hence my name NOHENS im a waterfowler....The most important thing to remember is DO NOT OVERCOOK! 140 inside tops. Looks like...and tastes like...prime rib when cook perfect. The texture is what most people don't like. It has a liver type texture. Rubem...wrap in bacon...and smokem to 140 and you will be hooked!

Sorry...I'm not trying to steal this post... I hit enter before I said "Me love some pork chops and those look AWESOME!" P.S.: You had me a whiskey also.

Great looking chops, I know whats for dinner tonight

Wow that looks good and the weirdest thing I was at Manards and found some Dave's bbq sauce, Peach and Bourbon, bought some and tried it on some rib trimmings Sunday, very different and it had a very deep flavor. I am sure not nearly as good as what you had but still not bad. I can see some modifications being made that would really kick it up.

The chops were great... and I had one on a sandwich today for lunch... with a bit extra sauce. The sauce is pretty tasty, if you have Stonewall Kitchen stuff nearby. I'm going to try making some when peaches get ripe this year, i think... A little peach, a bit of honey, a dram of Maker's Mark, a few chiles...
