can someone recomend a good commercial rub with a great safety seal, preferably a vacume seal that you have to peel off or the ring that cracks off when you twist the cap. the stuff i have been ordering either does not have a seal or is very poorly sealed with actual rub leaking out of the container.
thanks,
phil

Whew!!!!!!!!!!
I thought you were looking for a ........dagnabbit!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I don't quite get it. Any rub??????

I notice that "lotta BS bbq" rub has one of those styrofoam thin sealers under it's shaker cover under it's cap.

Check Out http://www.HomeBBQ.com They use the styrofoam seals on their containers and plastic shrink around the lids for transport. They also make alot of different types of rubs and They happen to be pretty darned good. He's won alot of contests with them and so have alot of other people.

Check out Willie B's Bourban Rub
or
Dizzy Pig's Dizzy Dust

Depends on the rub your using, but you may be able to buy in bulk and it usually comes sealed in a plastic bag...I buy 5lb bags of Rib Rangers this way from Hawgeyes.....

Let me see if I can drag this anywhere near "on-topic"

I second Kevin's rubs. Well sealed, re-usable containers.

Otherwise, take any rub you buy and store it in vacu-suck (bulk).

Also, Tupperware and such works fine for intermediate term storage.
Just get and keep the air out.

For current use, use re-cycled shakers and containers that you have collected.
