It's a Beauty, isn't it? :becky::becky::becky:

Cool, I'm sure it will prove itself very handy for portable charcoal grilling :) Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations..... These are great portable units that sit nicely on a picnic table or the ground.

I used to keep something similar in the back of my van when my children were younger. We would take a random road trip and stop at a grocery store and then a picnic area where ever we wound up.

They work great and simple to use..

I'm not sure what's cooler, getting grill or you putting it together on the play mat. My kids had that same mat too. Nice score.

Great pick up mate.
Get into it and show us what you can do
I have seen video,s of the driving in Italy, that's not a play mat:laugh:

ps, those little washers on the legs that go against the vents will rust.
go get some ss washers so you won't have to deal with the rust.
also go get some expanded sheetmetal and cut it to the size of the
coal grate so you can use lump charcoal.

Good Ideas. I need to do that for my WGAs before I use them. I have not had a chance to use them yet. The Smokey Joe Platinum ( jumbo joe) is the only portable one I have used for travelling or grilling away from home.

Thank you for your suggestions! :-D
