Haven't seen any comments or threads on this contest and I know they draw a lot of teams. Anyone planning on being there? Big Creek BBQ will be heading north for BIB this year. Looking forward to it!

Hi,
We will be there, its our 2nd ever BBQ competition. (BIB last year was our first). Myself and my co-captain are just old high school buds who just love to cook and use the competition as an excuse to get together. Im also new to this board. Anyhow cant wait to see all the nice folks there again, we had a blast last year. Our goal was to not finish last in any one category last year and we accomplished that!:-D Cant wait and looking forward to trying all of the veterans BBQ (that was our favorite part!!). There are some kick a** chefs out there!!

Practicing again tomorrow...:-D
Mostly because my inlaws have their annual "Grandchildren Birthday bash" and I always cook for it. Instead of going to all 14 of the grandkids Bdays, they just hold one big party for them each summer. So, tomorrow I get to kill two birds with one stone. Serve food for the fam and practice.

Nice to see another Bretheren in the area.....I also formed a team called Pigtamer BBQ. No contests until next year but will be running a practice run next weekend for fantasy football draft. Good luck.

I am so happy that joe and Justin are going to be there. I am heading to Nevada so this takes some of the competition out of the way! It is too abd that I won't get to see you though. Good luck to you all!

there is a "for fun" (trophy, jello shots, etc...)rib cook off I know of here in N fargo. I will try to get you details.
