OK got the Death Dust now what? They sold 150 bags of this rub, now tell what to do with it!!!!!
 
I just received my Death Dust along with a few other rubs for Oakridge. I used it with their Competition rub on a rack of ribs that was just for me. I did alternating layers of rub. I really liked how the flavors blended together and will be doing the same thing next time. I like heat and next time will use even more of the Death Dust.

I have another some other ideas but have not had time to try them yet.
 
I have a pkg. I haven't used it yet. I usually dip my finger in the rub and take a taste, but the label warnings and the smell warned me before I did anything stupid.

I seasoned some taters and fried them but the dust burnt off in the oil and it didn't work. I want to see if it has a pleasing flavor with the heat before I buy more (If I'm not too late). I have some chicken legs for a test this weekend

Right now I'm brining some chicken with buttermilk and Death Dust...when I get home it's on!
 
I've done the wings (1/4 cup EVOO plus 1/4 cup dust, marinate in ziplock, remove add more dust, grill, enjoy) and used the same method on thighs. Both turned out fantastic. The longer you marinate in the dust, the more the meat will soak it up...don't forget to use gloves! :becky:

Thanks, everybody for the replies. Going to do RedHots thing on some wings for the hardcore but was looking for something like this for the rest so they would not burst in to flames and burn down my deck.
 
I did red's method and it was awesome

I was afraid it would be too hot for my father so I used 1/2 c olive oil and 1/4 c HDD for the marinade and then dusted with Yardbird. It was a perfect heat for anyone not wanting to burst into flames :flame:

We've done the buttermilk/Death Dust combo a couple times. Good eatin' fo sho!!

Can't wait for the pics Phu.
