anyone tried it? it's a fruit wood so i guess it's good. i'm off to chop some & try it today just wanted some opinions.i'll let y'all know how it goes.

I've used it...Honestly I still prefer apple for my fruit wood. I found that the Persimmon had a bit of a "dryer" taste to it. I may be overly picky though. I say if you have an ample supply available cheap, go for it.
