This was in today's AJC and I thought it might be of interest. I always thought it was interesting the Atlanta area was a cooker capital plus I was not familiar with the Bubba.

Interesting article. I like how the guy testing the grill/smokers soaked his wood chunks. Guess he should hang out here a little. :-D

I met the guys who run that company at the Taste of Marietta last weekend. Nice guys, and it is pretty cool that some of the Brethren are testing these smokers!

Several Brothers have been testing the Bubba grill and have posted on it. Do a quick search to see their impressions.

I like this part:

Clint Caldwell, a New York state barbecue champion, says he is impressed with the Bubba Keg’s portability and performance , but worried about its long-term viability. “I’d like to see how it holds up to the elements,” Caldwell said. “What happens if you scratch the protective coating on the steel? I’d worry about rust.”
