Kofta-Practise run (pr0n)

I've been busy,made a batch of middle eastern kofta.
Quite a few spices were harmed in the making of these, cinnamon, cumin, nutmeg, coriander powder and harissa.

Making a fennel and pomegranate salad to have these with later.

Looks like some mighty fine tasting meatballs right there!

Did you use beef, lamb, chicken or a combo?

I always use lamb, but I am unshackled by religious rules on food and wanted to play so this lot I made with pork!

No, I did not feed it to any unsuspecting soul who IS bound by food rules :laugh:

That looks great. So many of the Mediterranean restaurants are incapable of serving it moist it is unreal.

Quite soon I will be doing a full blown thread on kofta.
Basically you are looking at 1/4 tsp of spices per lb of meat.

@smokeat...no bulgher, just meat!:-D
