what smokers are made in south carolina?

Friend of mine said a guy told him tonight one of tje biggest name smokers was made in SC. I googled and cant find anything specific. (He didnt know the name) but said people order them from all over the country. I am wondering if he meant lang that is not too far away in GA.

Do any brands you are aware of or smokers you have bought ring a bell in south carolina. I know its a broad question but he didnt give me much info to go on.

I used to carry Steelcraft...they are custom gravity feed units. Scott is in Rockhill, SC. He is no longer making them from my understanding. Otherwise, they are the only ones that come to mind.

There's a guy (who's name I can't recall) that makes some. The company is called "Alveron Custom cookers" and I think he specializes in propane whole hog cookers. I know a guy that has one, I can find out contact info if you like.

One of the brother (Cabo) has an Alveron. I'm know he likes it very much. So if that interests you he'd probably shoot you some info on them.
