Cornish Game Hens

You'd need to buy quite a few birds to ensure they all will present as well as you'd like if you do halves.

Personally, if you're goal is to win, stick with the thighs.. It's a proven winner more often than not. if you want to experiment and have fun, try the cornish hen halves. I've done legs almost exlusively and it's hit or miss... either at the top or the bottom.
