Since I joined to post in a thread I may as well introduce myself.
I'm a backyard BBQ guy that has entered a couple of competitions just for the fun of doing it. Been a KCBS judge for a few years but really would rather just eat BBQ rather than trying to decide whether someone cooked ribs for 10 minutes too long.
I'm from Oklahoma (which is too underrated for BBQ) and feel lost in the BBQ wasteland of Eastern Kentucky. Luckily the experiment of living in the mountains will come to an end in about a year and I can get back to flat ground and smoked meat.
