When I checked a month or so ago, Lone Star Lodge & Marina was completely booked for a wedding. I don't know if that is still the case, so it is worth checking into. I have stayed there twice in the past, and it is nice enough that I have and would stay there again.
Toast and I ended up making a reservation at the Four Horsemen in Pilot Point. I don't know anything about it, so I guess we will see.

We have 6 newbies signed up and coming to the Bash!
A close friend of Shelly was celebrating his 49th birthday and we all went out to eat. The conversation got around to the Texas BBQ Brethren Spring Bash and next thing we knew they all said it sounded great and wanted to come out! A great bunch of people, should be fun!

does he make custom order stuff? my wife is allergic to beef.:shocked: she will eat the jalapeno with cheese that is pork and beef but then she has to take a benadryl. she says it is worth it but i thought if i could get her an all pork version it might be better for her. she is tired of the 2 or 3 store bought ones we can find that are 100% pork.
edit: i just remembered that you gave me his number. i will call him.
