Multi Purpose
Hard to answer this in my opinion, I am from always of the thought you have a couple sets of neoprene gloves for handling the food, & pulling the pork & then another couple of sets for to handle the grates, plates setters, etc.....

I would definately recommend DO NOT BUY GLOVES that are completely red, make sure the finger tips at least are all black, they will get filthy very fast which I can't stand :p
 
Welding gloves for everything but handling the food. I like the Lincoln Electric gloves from Home Depot. $12 usually, but I get them for $7 sometimes when they are on sale. Keep two pairs, one clean for fire tending, and one for your greasy parts...
 
I bought Mr Bar-B-Q gloves off amazon:

They work great but I cannot keep them from getting moldy on the inside? Wife cleaned them off, got them wet inside and now contant mold? Any thoughts?
