Picked some of this up awhile back and just got around to opening up a bag. Most of the bag consisted of fairly large chunks along with some Medium to Small.

Lighting with the Mapp touch proved to be a little difficult due to all the Popping and Sparks. Switched over to the leaf burner and made life better. It is a pretty Hard Coal as it took a bit to get it fired up.

Not much sparking after initial light and burns pretty hot, Cooked a couple steaks that came out very good without any nasty Smoke flavor that you can get sometimes with a Mesquite Lump.

Overall a pretty good Lump.

Where was your bag made? I tried a bag once that was made in Mexico and I threw it out after the first use. I know they have USA and South America bags also.
