New Trailer Pit is Complete

Looks awesome! Did you fab the flattop yourself or buy it somewhere? Is it propane powered!

Make sure to post pics of its maiden voyage.

Total build time was just under 250 hours. It was a nice winter project for my son and I.
Did the test burn a few weeks ago and have only 4 degrees difference from one end to the other. Very happy with that.

Very nice job brotha, is that a 250 cooking chamber? Whats the dimensions of your fire box if I may ask?

With regards to the flatop, my dad made it about 40 years ago. The cast top came from an old restaurant. It works great.

Not sure what the gallon capacity of the tank is, but it is 30"x72. The firebox is 28 1/2 wide, 24 1/2 tall and 20 1/2 deep. It's made out of 1/4 plate.

I really appreciate all the nice comments. Can't wait to to start cooking on it.
