Mulberry wood for smoking?

Anyone use mulberry for smoking? I have a small tree I cut down. I was thinking about cutting it at 4-5" pieces and then splitting those to make chunks for smoking. Thoughts?

Absolutely! Just trimmed our tree:clap2:. Good smoking wood, similar to apple.

We call it the cotton candy wood because the smoke smell like cotton candy :-D I use it as an accent wood.
