I'm smoking some pulled pork for easter. I was asked by one of my guests if I was supplying a mustard sauce. So my question is does anyone have a good recipe? Thanks.

Can't remember where I found this one so I can't give credit where credit is due but it's not too bad IMO. YMMV Cheers!!!

1 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cayenne

I was too lazy to fine the OP on the various sauce taste tests in this forum (sorry). But this is the best sauce IMHO.

SoFlaQuer's Carolina Mustard Sauce

¾ Cup Yellow Mustard
¾ Cup Red Wine Vinegar
½ Cup White Sugar
3 Tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tsp. Salt
½ Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce (Lea & Perrins)
½ Tsp. Soy Sauce
½ Tsp. Tabasco Sauce
1½ Tsp. Course Ground Black Pepper
1 Tsp. White Pepper

In a medium saucepan, combine ingredients, stirring to blend. Bring to boil, then lower to simmer for at least 30 minutes. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving

Thanks. Will it store in the fridge for a day or two?

Here is Ray Lampe's(DRBBQ) mustard sauce. Its my favorite thing for pulled pork.

Big Squeeze Yellow Mustard Barbecue Sauce

3/4 cup Yellow Mustard
3/4 cup Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Sugar(I use brown)
1-1/2 tbs Margarine
2 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1-1/4 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 tsp Louisiana Style Hot Sauce or more to taste

Simmer on low for 30 minutes then let stand for an hour before using.

Great on Hotdogs too!

I did a cook out at work a few weeks back and for my pulled pork, made three sauces, one being a mustard sauce. My wife and I made 4 different versions one night (house smelled awfully vinegary!) and then blind taste tested them.

This was our favorite. It went really well on grilled chicken and pulled pork.

You could do the recipe without the apple pie moonshine, but I thought apple and cinnamon flavors made sense.

1/2 cup yellow mustard (you want a plain yellow mustard like French's)
1/4 cup chipotle mustard (I used World Classics brand)
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup apple/cinnamon flavored moonshine (Junior Johnson's Midnight Moon)
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp butter

Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.

Another vote for Roxy's. Its my "secrete mustard sauce" and people LOVE it

Thanks everyone. I might make a couple of them and test them side by side.
