La Caja China is probably the pig cooker to which you refer.
I have no first hand knowledge if there are galvanized components in them.
We have had several threads on the use of galvanized metal in cookers, yet no clear-cut conclusion. The best advice I have gleaned from them is to err on the side of caution and just avoid it.
